Sedangkan untuk jurusan IPS yang akan mengikuti ujian ulang sebanyak 795 dari 3.972 peserta, dan untuk SMK dari 3.894 pelajar yang mengikuti UN, yang tak lulus hanya 1.242 orang atau 60,10 persen.
Jika dibandingkan UN tahun 2009, kelulusan untuk jurusan IPA tahun 2010 ada peningkatan. Tahun 2009, kelulusan siswa IPA sebesar 73,8 persen, sedangkan 2010 menjadi 86,49 persen. Sementara untuk IPS,tahun 2010 itu lulus 79,03 persen, sedangkan 2009 cuma 71,51 persen.

Ketika ditanyakan faktor pemyebab terjadinya penurunan itu, Rivai belum bisa mengurai penyebabnya. Menurutnya, butuh analisis dan kajian yang khusus untuk bisa menjelaskan penyebab turunnya persentase kelulusan UN untuk SMK di Bangka Belitung tahun 2010 ini.
“Sebab banyak indikator dan elemen yang melatarbelakanginya. Misal faktor guru, orangtua murid, siswa itu sendiri, sarana dan parasarana sekolah. Jadi butuh kajian yang konprehensif untuk menjawab penyebab turunnya tingkat kelulus SMK itu,” paparnya.
Rivai menjelaskan, peserta yang akan mengikuti ujian ulang nanti akan dilakukan tes sama dengan UN yang pertama, namun mata pelajaran yang diujikan itu, mata pelajaran yang nilainya dibawah rerata 5,5.

Rivai menambahkan, peserta UN untuk jurusan IPA yang mendapatkan nilai terbaik jatuh pada Dewi Santa dan Fransisca dengan nilai 54,75. Keduanya dari SMA Santo Yosef Pangkalpinang, sedangkan Dian P dengan nilai 54,60 dari SMAN 2 Pangkalpinang. Untuk SMA IPS, tertinggi diraih Novela P dengan nilai 51,55,Laela Septiadi nilai 51,25,dan Windhea Venda Nova nilai 5,25. Ketiganya siswa SMAN I Gerunggang Pangkalpinang.
Kemudian untuk sekolah SMK diraih Erwanda dengan nilai 47,15, Rosalina nilai 46,15, dan Teorado Conery dengan nilai 45,38.Ketiganya siswa SMKNI Pangkalpinang.
Rivai juga mengatakan, pihaknya belum dapat menilai UN secara nasional,namun jika dibadingkan tahun lalu untuk Bangka Belitung menempati urutan 25 untu SMA, dan 22 untuk SMK. “Untuk tahun 2010 ini dipastikan Bangka Belitung masih berada pada kisaran nomor urutan tahun 2009 itu. Nanti Mendiknas yang mengumumkan urutan itu,” pungkasnya.

Pada tingkat SMK di Kepulauan Bangka Belitung terjadi penurunan jika dibandingkan 2009 yang lulus mencapai 77,16 persen, sedangkan untuk 2010 turun menjadi 68,10 persen.
“Penurunan sekitar Sembilan persen itu disebabkan adanya mata ajar yang tahu lalu tak dimasukkan, tapi UN kini dimasukkan. Siswa baru mengenal mata ajar itu. Ini salah satu faktor turunnya tingkat kelulusan SMK di Bangka Belitungm,” kata Gubernur saat ditemui Metro Bangka Belitung usai Sidang Paripurna DPRD Provinsi, Senin 26 April 2010, tanpa menjelaskan mata ajar yang pada UN sekarang dimasukkan. Tapi untuk SMA ada peningkatan dari tahun 2009 lalu sekitar 8 persen.
Eko menjelaskan, hasil UN yang diraih saat ini merupakan buah kejujuran yang diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan UN di Bangka Belitung.Meskihasil yang dicapai belum maksimal.
“Tahun depan diupayakan untuk lebih maksimal lagi. Dan semua lini ditingkatkan,” tambahnya.
Selain itu, Gubernur berharap, bagio yang belum berhasil lulus jangan putus asa dan berkecil hati, karena masih ada ujian ulangan yang dapat diikuti siswa yang dinyatakan belum berhasil pada UN sekarang.
“Saya mengimbau agar guru membantu siswa yang belum lulus ini untuk mempelajari soal-soal yang dianggap sulit dan membantu siswa dalam memahami pelajaran.Demikian juga dengan orangtua untuk selalu mendukung anaknya agar tetap semangat meskipun mengikuti ujian ulangan,” imbau Gubernur.
Agar terjadi peningkatan, Gubernur berjanji, untuk tahun depan menganggarkan dalam APBD insentif guru-guru yang mata pelajarannya yang dimasukkan dalam UN.Tujuannya agar guru termotivasi dan bersemangat dalam memberikan mata pelajaran tambahan kepada siswa.
"Ya saya sediri sudah memberikan pandangan kepada Kepala Dinas Pendidikan supaya disiapkan anggaran kepada guru-guru untuk mengadakan les disore hari, terutama untuk pelajaran yang diujiankan dalam UN," katanya.
Dengan demikian, selain pemahaman siswa semakin meningkat, kesejahteraan para guru pun meningkat. Siswa tidak dibebankan biaya apapun.
“Siswa hanya fokus belajar. Rencana ini sebetulnya sudah lama dipikirkan, namun belum dapat teralisasi. Diharapkan teralisasi pada anggatan Belanja Tambahan (ABT) 2010 mendatang,” pungkas Eko. (M-104)
